NFJP Youth

Exciting news for young farmworkers and their families! We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new NFJP Youth, designed to empower youth aged 14-18 who are working in agriculture. This program is all about opening doors to new opportunities and paving the way to a brighter future.

What is the NFJP Youth?

The NFJP Youth is a paid initiative aimed at providing young individuals with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Whether you’re involved in planting, harvesting, packing, or processing crops, dairy, poultry, or livestock, this program could be your ticket to new skills and educational opportunities.

Why Join the NFJP Youth?

How Organizations & Companies Can Get Involved

If you’re excited about the possibilities, we invite you to take the next step! Industries interested in participating or supporting this initiative are also encouraged to reach out.

Similarly to an internship, we match you with a student based on your business needs. You provide hands-on learning opportunities in a safe and supportive environment. We check in regularly to offer support and ensure success.

Hosting a student (ages 14-18) for work experience is a great way to support young people while also benefiting your business.

New Energy & Fresh Ideas – Young workers bring enthusiasm and creativity to your team.

Future Workforce Development – In-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence.

Community Engagement – Talent management, leadership development, and HR strategy.

Mentorship Opportunities – Optimizing financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.

Low Risk & Flexible – Streamlining processes and improving operational effectiveness.

I don’t have time to train and supervise a student. We keep it simple – Students arrive prepared with basic workplace skills, and we provide a structured plan to help them contribute without overwhelming your staff.

Will the student be mature & reliable enough for my workplace? We select motivated students – They receive soft skills training before placement, ensuring professionalism, responsibility, and a willingness to learn.

What about liability & workplace safety? We’ll help you navigate this – We guide you through any necessary permissions, and students are covered by appropriate school or program insurance where applicable.

I don’t have the resources for a long-term commitment. No pressure – Work experiences are short-term and flexible, with clear start and end dates. You choose the level of involvement that works for you.
