Migratory and seasonal agricultural workers and their families face unique challenges, working arduous schedules often resulting in limited time and access for health care services. Proteus, Inc. brings healthcare to the individual at locations and times most accessible to them. We are currently seeking Temporary Bilingual (English/Spanish) Summer Health Aides for our three Iowa Offices. The Summer Health Aides’ role assists the health team in during clinics by providing first‑aid to farmworkers, assist in instructing farmworkers in what they can do about common health problems, interpret for farmworkers to assist provider, accurately take temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and vision screening and limited lab tests after completing initial training, etc.
