Proteus, Inc. is hosting their annual fundraiser “I’m Thankful for Farmworkers” on November, 5th at 5:30 PM via a virtual delivery.

The fundraiser is typically hosted as an in-person dinner where the hard work of farmworkers is not only recognized but celebrated. While this is year two of hosting the event virtually, Proteus has implemented new ways of bringing the engagement to your home or wherever you plan on tuning in from.

The event consists of farmworker and partner of the year awards, spoken word presentation, featured speaker; renowned artist Justin Favela (creator of the Central American exhibit at the Des Moines Art Center), and more!

They’ve partnered with Lucky Lotus a South East Asian Eatery on Ingersoll Ave. to donate a percentage of the proceeds from Pad Thai and Bing Bing Wrap orders on November, 5.

Their virtual platform will host a silent auction items starting 10/28 and closing after the event on 11/5.
