On-The-Job Training

Each individual in the National Farmworker Jobs Program completes a career and educational planning assessment with CareerScope® program. This proven career assessment and reporting system measures both aptitude and interest through valid and reliable assessment tasks.  The results are instrumental in helping an individual with their career planning process. The results are compiled into a comprehensive Individual Profile Analysis (IPA). The IPA objectively identifies each individual the most significant interest area preferences.

 A New Career

On-the-job training provided by Proteus helps unemployed and under-employed workers find full-time jobs through the National Farmworker Jobs Program. Employees receive an on-site and real-life work environment with an opportunity to learn skills that may lead to a new career. Employers receive pre-screened employees who train on the specifics of the operation while receiving wage reimbursement, and possible federal tax credits

This program saves the employer time and money as employees are matched by the career choices discovered through Proteus’ education, training and use of the IPA.
