Clinical Director/Migrant Physician Assistant

Proteus is seeking a Clinical Director/Migrant Physician Assistant for its Des Moines Office. As Physician Assistant, the successful candidate will perform patient visits, conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests and interpret results under Physician supervision and within the scope of the Physician’s Assistant practice.  As Clinical Director, the candidate will develop and implement program administrative and management policies and procedures, assist in the development of proposals, grant requests and service delivery plans, assist in developing and monitoring of budgets, provide clinical supervision to health staff, represent the Migrant Health Project in the corporation's national and state affiliations and report to the Proteus Board of Directors regarding project performance.

Must be willing to work flexible schedule, have ability to travel and have valid driver’s license and insurance as required by state law. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is a definite plus.
